Fishing

Guests can fish the Bitterroot River, which runs along the east perimeter of Chief Joseph Ranch.  Follow our 22 acres of private shoreline and test some of the river's best holes.

The ranch is also in close proximity to the Salmon River, the Big Hole River, and both the East and West Forks of the Bitterroot.  For the fisherman who prefers to fish from a boat, we would be happy to arrange a float trip down the Bitterroot River with a local guide.
