Cross-Country Skiing Chief Joseph Ranch is 30 minutes from groomed trails at Skalkaho, where guests can make their way to the beauty of Skalkaho Falls and then to an inspiring view from the Pass.

| Guests will also find miles of both groomed and ungroomed trails at Lost Trail and Chief Joseph Pass. The trails are marked from easiest to most difficult, with descriptions of the terrain. Guests can explore the terrain covered by Chief Joseph and the Nez Perce, or they can find their way to the Continental Divide, hopefully with greater ease than Lewis and Clark when they "lost" their way here in 1805. | ||
